How to View Data Exports

Learn how to track, export, and cancel reports on WinRed

The Data Export tool allows users to view all reports coming from an organization, including scheduled recurring reports and one-off exports.

This tool is useful for tracking, downloading, or canceling reports from an organization.

Access the Data Exports Tab

Head to the Utilities tab and select the Data Exports subtab.

Here, you can view a history of all your organization's exports, including when the report was downloaded, who initiated the download, the type of report, the status, and the number of files included.

An export will have one of the following as its status:

  • Canceled

  • Download Ready

  • Download Expired

  • Failed

  • Pending

If you click the plus button next to Records, you will view a more detailed breakdown of the export. This will let you know which specific file, the frequency of this report, and which email address requested it.

Download a Report

If you'd like to download a report to your browser instead of receiving it via email, you can click the Download Ready button. This will download the report straight to your browser.

The export copy will be available for 24 hours from the initial time it was downloaded and will not be available after that.

Cancel a Report

If you mistakenly requested a report and no longer need it to be delivered, you can cancel it under the report details.

Select the cancel button in the details to prevent the report from being delivered to your inbox.

Please Note: Smaller exports will complete quickly, so this button may only be visible on larger exports.

Once selected, a confirmation like this will appear!
