Dynamic Amounts on Upsells

How to use the Dynamic Multiplier on Panel and Donation Upsells

Updated over a week ago

Dynamic Amounts allow the displayed amounts on a Panel or Donation Upsell to reflect the donor's original donation amount as multiplied. This is done by setting a multiplier value to display amounts on the Upsells based on the donor's initial charge.

How to Configure Dynamic Amounts

Click the green Create New Upsell button and select Panel Upsell or Donation Upsell.

Or scroll to the bottom and click Add Upsell Card. Select an Upsell Card.

Once there, scroll down to the Donation Amount Buttons to find the upsell. By toggling the Dynamic toggle, you can show different kinds of donors more appropriate upsell donation amounts.

For example, a donor who donated $10 on the base page will see different amounts from those who donated $100.

The percentage you input is tied to the base page donation. When you add a multiplier in these text boxes, you will see the options the donor will be presented with when they arrive at the upsell. You can adjust the percentage and use the preview tool to the right of the donation amount multiplier to see how the dynamic amounts update based on the base landing page donation.

Rounded Results

If you scroll down, you will see the option to enable Rounded Results. Round Results will round the donation amount to the nearest $10 or $1.

Set Minimum and Maximum Amounts for Multiplication

If enabled, you may set a minimum and maximum donation amount that can be multiplied. The minimum amount inputted will be used to determine the button amounts; the required minimum is $1.

Then, input the maximum amount that can be used by the multiplier upsell. The maximum amount will be used if the donation exceeds this amount.
