In order to run shopping ads with WinRed merchandise, products must include the appropriate tags required by shopping services.
Use WinRed's XML Feed to tag new and pre-existing products in your store to pass information to ad servers and utilize it in your ad targeting.
This guide will go over how to configure this on specific products, and it will work with any platform that can pull in an XML feed, like Google Merchant and Meta.
Customize Merchant Data Feed on WinRed
Add meta tags such as Age Group, Gender, and Color to products on WinRed to ensure products display correctly on shopping listings and ads.
To add these tags, head to the Merchandise tab and select the Products subtab. Then select the green Create New Product button to create a product within WinRed or click an existing one from the menu and hit the green edit product button.
For both, scroll down to the Customize Merchant Data Feed section at the bottom of the page. Here is where you can add the corresponding meta tags to the specific products.
Only select a color if all the product and its variants all have the same color, if not, leave this blank.
If the product is a color that isn't listed, hit the green Add Custom Color button and type input the color.
Once the correct tags have been selected, hit the green Save button in the top right-hand corner.
View the XML Feed from a URL
To view your XML Feed from your storefront URL, add /products.xml to the end of your storefront URL, as shown in the example below.
