Learn how to create a product directly from WinRed and offer it on donation pages, upsells, and storefronts.
Note: While you may offer inventory through all Integrated Vendors, your storefront can only feature one vendor at a time.
Create a New Product
Click the green Add Product button located in the upper right corner to get started.
Once you click that, you'll need to fill out the following fields:
Public Name - This is the public name for your product. It will be displayed in the order confirmation email and order view.
Product Category - This is the general category your product fits under.
Select Fulfillment House - Choose which integrated vendor will be handling the product's fulfillment. Your options are HDS, Advoc8, and MSP.
Product Description - Add a product description that will appear on the storefront.
Product Price
You will set the product's base price under the Product Price. The price will apply to all the variants created.
Size Options
Next, toggle the size options to Yes if your product comes in multiple sizes. Select the size offering by checking off the size boxes. If your product does not come in multiple size options, select No.
Custom Options
If you are offering more than one product variant, click Add Option Set.
For example, if the product has multiple colors, you would add the Option Set, Color, and options Red and Blue.
Variants
The system will automatically populate variants based on the selected sizes and/or option sets.
For example, if you are selling a small red t-shirt, the variant name will populate as: "T-shirt (Red) (SM)."
The variant SKU, low inventory, and depleted inventory fields will not populate by default.
If your item was purchased in bulk, you can receive low inventory notifications.
Product Slug
If this product will appear on a storefront, enter a slug for it.
Product Images
Upload the associated product images here. Click the “+” sign to select or upload images.
Once all information has been entered and checked, scroll to the top and click Save in the right-hand corner. You have now successfully created your product!
Product XML Feed
If shopping ads with WinRed merchandise are being run, input the products' appropriate tags to be passed to ad servers and utilized in your ad targeting.
Product Details Page
Once your product is created, you will be sent to the details view. You can view all your information about the product, such as the public product name, description, and product options.
