NationBuilder Integration

How to set up a NationBuilder Integration on WinRed

Updated over a week ago

WinRed offers a direct integration with NationBuilder to help send origin data directly from your WinRed account to your NationBuilder account.

Set Up the Integration

Click the green Add Integration button and select NationBuilder from the menu.

The name of this integration varies depending on what type of WinRed account you are using. If using a conduit account, it will display as NationBuilder for Origin Data, while on a merchant account, it will say NationBuilder.

You can enter the Integration's name, along with any notes, and then your Nation Slug, which is a valid NationBuilder subdomain.

Once this information has been entered, the Connect to NationBuilder button will turn green. Select this button to proceed.

If you are already logged into NationBuilder, there will be a brief delay before the integration is connected, and then it will automatically toggle as Active.

If not, you will be redirected to the NationBuilder login page. Enter your NationBuilder credentials; once entered, then you will be redirected back to WinRed, and the Integration will display as Active.

Once the integration is active, select save to finish the setup.

Manage the Integration

Once the setup is complete, you can manage it by navigating to the Integration tab and clicking on the Edit Integration button.

For the NationBuilder, you will now see the option to edit the following fields.

  • List ID

  • Custom Person Fields

  • Custom Donation Fields
