Enable Captcha

Conditional captcha helps verify your donors

Updated over a week ago

Captcha is a form of verifying a donor's payment details by asking them to select certain items from a group of photos. It is used for security reasons and is an efficient way to verify payment details.

Enabling Captcha

To enable this feature, navigate to the Pages tab and then to the My Pages tab.

From there, click on a donation page and go to the Advanced tab.

Here, you are able to see an option to enable captcha.

Toggle that on by clicking YES and save the page.

To know if Captcha is enabled on your page, you will see the logo in the bottom right hand corner.

If enabled, the Captcha prompt may not always display to the donor. The prompt displays based on real-time metrics on the user who is viewing the page.

Usage of Captcha

After a donor enters their credit card number and clicks Donate, the donor will be prompted to complete the captcha before their donation can be processed. Donors must click the appropriate pictures, then click verify, and they will be able to proceed.

Donations shall process normally for pages that do not have Captcha enabled.
